This wine has very good structure for its low low price. On the nose blueberry, black cherry and cherry flavors bounce out of the glass to your nose. On the palate this wine has amazing texture and balance again for its low price tag. It shows flavors of plum and spices followed by a full but smooth finish. Great bottle of wine for any red meat dish

Wow this wine packs a punch for the buck. I would do this all day long for the price it has aromas of Vanilla and Spice followed by cocoa and cinnamon. On the palate dark red fruit notes lead into an intense blackberry and raspberry flavors that intice the senses.
Try this one with BBQ ribs
Several lbs of beer or pork ribs, garlic salt, onion salt, liquid smoke, 1/2 bottle of your favorite BBQ sauce
Amounts above for average meal for 4. Vary in amounts according to amount you need. Cut off excess fat. Rub ribs with garlic and onion salts. Brush with liquid smoke. Bake uncovered at 425. Pour off juice, spoon in mixture of 1/2 bottle of 2 of your favorite BBQ sauces and a few drops of liquor smoke. Cover bake at 325 for 2 hours till done.

I like this wine because it is not the oak bomb of so many California chardonnays much easier to pair with food or to sip out on the deck in the summer. Aromas of peaches and cream with just a hint of honey. A tangy entry with ripe fruit flavors followed by a soft and creamy finish.
Food Pairings-crab and other shellfish, chicken breasts, pasta in a white cream sauce or just a fresh fruit salad

Dry Rieslings seem to be the new wave and I can see why they are so food friendly they are still high enough in acidity to cut through the spicy dishes but not so darn sweet to pair with sweeter food.
This is my favorite dry Riesling- A delicate yet fruit-driven wine sporting peach and apple notes backed by lively acidity. A great alternative to Pinot Gris or Sauvignon Blanc. A very Versatile food wine .
This is a perfect wine for you grouse hunters try it with grouse hotdish.
brown 4 boneless grouse breast approx 1lb worth. cook rice until done. Drain and Rinse. Add the browned grouse and the following ingrediants bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours so easy I guess the hard part is shooting the grouse
1 c. celery, 1 sm. onion, 3 tsp. soy sauce, 1 can cram of chicken soup, 1 can cream of mushroom soup, 2 T. butter, and 2/3 cup wild rice

Aromas of jam (raspberry, blackcherry and cherry) are followed by ripe red fruits on the palate. This could be the perfect food wine because of its finish where the tannins and cleansing acidity give the wine complexity and drinkabilty at the same time.
Perfect for your next BBQ works well from burgers and brats to steak!

Ahh from the guy who invented Fume Blanc comes one of the best ones in the store. I love this bottle of wine because it can do so many things from appetizers to dinner and everywhere in between.
It really packs a punch for the money-Rich aromas of lemon and orange blossoms on the nose that lead to creamy textures of peach and lush fruit on the palate. This wine just comes alive in the glass beautifully balanced and it really hits you with its zesty acidity!!
Perfect with any seafood dish-I had it last weekend with fresh grouse oh my was that good!

Deep, bold and very complex for its low price. Very deep with a richness like no other in its price range. Juicy luscious flavors combine with brisk tannins to make it a perfect complement for strong savory meats and hearty pasta dishes.
Eric approved yum yum
